Vegano, natural, orgánico, Cruelty-free, Slow Cosmetics, son palabras muy actuales en el mundo de la cosmética y del cuidado del cabello.
La palabra «SLOW» en inglés fue utilizada por primera vez por el movimiento italiano SLOW FOOD que promueve la alimentación local y la agricultura contra la comida rápida, el fast food y la globalización. Ahora, muchas otras áreas comienzan a utilizar esta palabra, lo que significa que a pesar de nuestro rápido ritmo de vida, deberíamos tomarnos nuestro tiempo para disfrutar de los recursos invaluables que la Tierra nos ha dado y hacer un buen uso de ellos.

START 2020 WITH A NEW CONCEPT OF SLOW COSMETICS
In 2020, seeking for natural products is not merely a beauty trend. The planet is proving us that we must be respectful towards the Mother Earth. Vegan, Natural, Organic, Cruelty-free are words that are all over in cosmetic and hair products now.
Today, we’d like to talk to you about “Slow Cosmetics”. The word “Slow” has been first employed by the Italian Slow Movement promoting local food and farming against fast-food and globalization. Now, many other areas start to use this word, meaning that despite our fast rhythm of life, we should take our time to enjoy the invaluable resources that the Earth has given us, and make a good use of them.
Here are our 4 main ideas in Slow Cosmetics & Hair Care:
- Be Ecological as much as possible. Choose hair products with organic and natural active ingredients and avoid packaging that is not environmentally-friendly. Preferring a simple bottle to a bulky box with more plastics inside is an ecological behavior by itself.
- Choose Honest Beauty: choose hair care products that are cruelty-free and respect living beings. The environment will benefit from this, and your life too, thus laying the foundations for your future.
- Be Smart: focus on the real need of skin and hairs. Take few but reliable steps in your daily hair care. Use shampoo, conditioner and hair treatments that are specific for your type of hair. - Be Reasonable: Avoid useless and look for fair prices. High-quality hair products mean corresponding fair prices. They shouldn’t be expensive just because of the brand.
